The Made by Google showcase of last August 20, 2025, supposed the unveiling of the new Pixel lineup built by Google. This year’s smart devices release includes the Pixel 10 phones, the Pixel Watch 4, and the new Pixel Buds 2a, all designed to work better together thanks to Gemini IA and exclusive cross-device features.
Pixel 10 raises the bar with brighter displays and longer-reach cameras
The new Pixel 10 family focused on two main screen sizes: a 6.3-inch screen available in the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro devices, and the 6.8-inch Pixel 10 Pro XL, each featuring Google’s brightest Super Actua OLED displays and a refined triple-rear camera system.
On the Pro models, “Pro Res Zoom” now stretches up to 100x, enabled by an upgraded 5x telephoto. The latest Tensor G5 CPU will enhance the online casino gaming experience, as it’s more powerful than the older generation.
Beyond the spec sheet, Google new smartphones are way more proactive: on-device Gemini now handles real-time translation, smarter call screening, and context-aware suggestions that surface at the right moment, whether you’re framing a photo or turning a text into a to-do list.
Early reviews have criticized the hardware as a mere “evolution”, however, they conclude the brighter screens, the stronger camera software, and a more cohesive AI layer makes the 10 series feel better than the previous generation.
Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a round out the ecosystem
Pixel Watch 4 features a tougher, domed Actua 360 display rated up to 3,000 nits, plus IP68 and 5-ATM protection. The spheres in offer are 41 mm and 45 mm sized with quoted battery life of about 30 and 40 hours, respectively, and it introduces standalone satellite SOS for emergencies when you’re off the grid.
Fitness and coaching features have been expanded as well, and Gemini is a wrist-raise away for quick help. Plus, according to Google, the charging is faster than ever. During the coverage, it was announced that the preorders are already open, and retail availability is slated for October 9.
Audio-wise, the headline is the new Pixel Buds 2a, Google’s A-series earbuds aimed at delivering core “Pro-level” smarts for a fraction of the cost. They bring Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5, hands-free help from Gemini, and a twist-to-adjust stabilizer for a more secure or relaxed fit on the fly.
Battery life is rated up to 7 hours with ANC on (20 hours total with the case) or up to 10 without ANC (27 hours total). An 11 mm driver handles balanced sound, and the Tensor A1 chip powers the ANC and helpful features. Head-gesture controls and other fancier tricks won’t be available on the Buds 2a, but you can’t ask more with a 129$ price tag.
The 2025 Pixel family can be criticised due to the absence of radical forms. However, this generation is about the polishing of the features that were already there: brighter screens, sturdier wearables, and earbuds that respond as naturally as you do, all stitched together by Gemini, so tasks can hop from phone to watch to buds without friction.
