Or you are an efficient multi-tasker who likes to manage your bills while waiting in the carpool line or at the dentist’s office. Stream’s connect app lets you view your account, manage your settings, and even offer feedback about the app from wherever you are.
You can also access information about your account, payments, and history when you need it with the touch of a finger. So whether you need to review an old invoice, make budget projections based on your energy bill history, or print out a copy for proof of residence, you can do it quickly and easily from anywhere.
Home and Business Accounts Can Take Advantage of Stream’s App
The My Stream Connect App is ideal for on-the-go individuals and families. Connect it to your home account, shop new plans, or even put in a request to change services or locations if you move. You can even upgrade your plan to an eco+ plan, which includes 1,000 of renewable energy applied to your current, qualifying plan.
The app can also be used by busy business owners who manage their accounts whenever they can – waiting for a meeting to start, on a plane, or wherever your work takes you. This app puts the power in the palm of your hands whenever you need it.
The Connect App Is One Way Stream Energy Serves Its Customers
Stream works to make managing your energy accounts as easy as possible. Along with the My Stream Connect app, the company also offers the EZ Start program.
EZ Start makes it easy for you to switch over to Stream Energy, even if you are under contract with another energy provider. This program is available in Texas, Georgia, and the Northeastern states where Stream Energy is available.
In Texas, new customers simply enroll in a Stream Energy plan that is longer than 12 months and send their final bill from another provider to Stream via email or fax. The bill should clearly show your full name, address of service, dates of the last bill cycle, and the early termination fee you were charged. Once Stream receives this information from you and processes it, you will receive a credit of up to $150 on your Stream account to cover the early termination fee from the other provider.
Texas residents who make the switch to Stream with the EZ Start program can expect to see the credit for $150 on their Stream Energy bill within one or two billing cycles of sending in the final bill from the previous provider.
In Georgia and Northeastern states where Stream Energy provides service, EZ Start is also available. Like in Texas, when you are a new customer switching to Stream Energy in the middle of a contract with other energy providers, you’ll need to send a copy of your final bill from that provider to Stream. The bill should clearly show your full name, ESIID or utility account number, and the dates of the last billing cycle.
Once this information is processed by Stream, you will receive a Visa gift card valued at up to $150 from Stream Energy. The exact amount of the gift card will depend on the amount that you were charged for the early termination fee with the other energy provider. For those who qualify for a Visa debit card, it will be sent to you within 10–14 days after the final bill has been approved.
Please note that this offer is available for new Stream Energy customers only. But even if you are already a customer, there are other perks that you can take advantage of as a Stream customer.
Stream Energy Offers the Eco+ Upgrade for Qualifying Plans
Stream Energy customers can also do their part to help take care of the planning with Stream Green’s eco+ add-on service. With eco+, Stream will purchase 1,000 kWh of renewable energy on your behalf. This helps offset your carbon footprint.
There is a small fee to upgrade your plan to include eco+, but you have the option to cancel or change it at any time. Stream Energy leaves the power in your hands.
About Stream Energy
Founded in 2005, Stream Energy provides natural gas and electricity services to nine states that have deregulated energy markets: Texas, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.
Deregulated energy markets are those that allow competition among energy providers to supply and sell electricity, even when utility companies maintain the infrastructure. This is different from regulated markets, where utility companies own the power lines and generate and sell the electricity to customers in the area.
Stream proudly provides electricity and natural gas at highly competitive rates in the deregulated market to both business and residential customers. The company is committed to serving its customers in the most convenient way possible. This includes its EZ pay and EZ start programs, its different plans that are tailored to the different budgets and needs of its customers, and of course, the My Stream Connect App. Switching to Stream Energy has never been easier.
