It securely writes data into Object Storage and restores it from there, when required. You can connect with the on-premises routers by setting up an IPsec VPN Connect by establishing a Dynamic Routing Gateway or DRG (acts as a virtual router providing a path for private traffic).
Note: Established secure connection allows you to create copies of your on-premises files, placing them into Oracle Object Storage. Thus, modifying applications won’t be required.
4. Offline Transport
Offline transport is an option for businesses with large, petabyte-scale data sets concerned about slow and long upload times. You can use the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Transfer Service using the Oracle Data Transfer Appliance or commodity hard disks, to securely and quickly transport data to Oracle.
