Oppo has been trying to expand its market continuously by bringing new technology and innovation in its phone. Recently after Vivo V15 Pro, Oppo is the first company to announce pop-up camera option in the mid-range price bracket.

With 6.5 inches screen size, Helio P70 processor, 48MP plus 5MP dual rear camera setup, pop-up selfie camera and 4000mAh battery, Oppo F11 Pro is all set to compete in the price bracket of twenty-five grand. But, is it well enough to be the first choice against Vivo V15 Pro? Let’s check out in Oppo F11 Pro review below:

Design and Display

The Oppo F11 Pro gets a solid and sleek design with 3D glass gradient finish at the rear panel which makes this device look more stylish. There is no notch on the front which means the front camera hides in the little slider on the top of the device which pops up when in need. The back looks stunning with the 3D finishing and carries a dual rear camera set up on the middle top. Beneath the camera setup lies a fingerprint sensor which is easily accessible and Oppo branding at the bottom. Furthermore, you can get great deals on this phone using Flipkart Sale offer.

On the right frame, you can get a power button sitting at the perfect place while on the left, there are volume rockers. On the bottom, you get a 3.5mm headphone jack space, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille.

Coming to the display, the Oppo F11 Pro packs a 16.58 centimeters (6.5-inch) FHD+ multi-touch capacitive touchscreen with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device has 397 ppi pixel density which is really high. The device gets no notch design with minimal bezels at top and sides which makes the screen-to-body ratio up to 91 percent. The colors come out bright and sharp- all thanks to the huge pixel resolution.

Performance

Under the hood, the Oppo F11 Pro packs a 2.1GHz MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Although, the inbuilt storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. The device carries ARM Mali G72 GPU. You can easily do your day-to-day tasks in the device without any lags or hiccups felt. But, at this price tag, Helio P70 leaves some questions unanswered. As the Realme 3 coming at nearly nine grand offers the same processor too. For gaming especially, the new feature called Hyper Boost takes care of special optimization for games. Hyper Boost includes System Boost, Game Boost and App Boost which helps in optimization for system, games, and apps. Playing PUBG at medium graphics renders is not an issue in this device but at high render, you might see this device getting heat up. Overall, Oppo F11 Pro is a really nice device when it comes to performance, but at this price tag, the company might have come with more. Also, not to forget, Helio P70 is still way better than the Snapdragon 660.

Cameras and Battery Life

Coming to the cameras, Oppo F11 Pro has a dual rear camera setup including a 48MP primary lens and 5MP secondary camera with normal, video, expert, time-lapse, panorama, portrait, and slow-motion mode. For selfies, there is a 16MP pop-up front camera. Oppo is known for its camera quality and with the 48MP primary lens, you get the better version of the camera. In daylight, the pics come out sharper while on the night, you can see the clicks with minimal noise which are treated to eyes. Selfies in this device are as satisfying as the rear camera of this phone. Thanks to the AI drove 48MP camera which does half of the work for the machine.

The Oppo F11 Pro houses a high capacity 4000mAH lithium-polymer battery. As per the company, the battery can 36 hours of talk time and standby time of 360 hours. It looks quite promising by the company. Moreover, the device supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0which can charge this device lightning fast.

Other Features

Oppo F11 Pro runs Android 9 Pie out of the box paired with Oppo’s Color OS 6. The connectivity and sensors options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and Micro-USB with active 4G on both SIM cards, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. In the box, you can see a VOOC Charge Adapter, Earphone, USB Cable, Sim Tray Ejector, Pre-applied Screen Protector and Protective Case, Booklet with Warranty Card, and Quick Guide.

The Oppo F11 Pro comes in two color variants: Aurora Green and Thunder Black and you can easily get these colours using Snapdeal Sale offer.

Verdict

With the new stunning 3D gradient design, minimal bezel display, no notch, pop-up front camera, powerful performance, and huge battery, Oppo F11 Pro offers a nice set of features. Fingerprint sensor still at back, slippery in hands- these can go against this device. Comparing it with its straight competitor i.e Vivo V15 Pro, this device feels heavy, have thicker bezels than V15 Pro and lacks in-display fingerprint sensor too. This device comes four grand cheaper than Vivo V15 Pro- it can only be the advantage. If you are moved by the thin bezel and no notch design with a nice bunch of features, then you can get your hands on Oppo F11 Pro. Otherwise, there are options available in the market like Vivo V15 Pro, Nokia 8.1, and Poco F1 at this price range.
