Gem4me – is a service that offers a wide spectrum of capabilities to its users. Its development was initiated with the functionality of a traditional messenger in 2016: chats, voice calls, channels. However, as of today Gem4me ecosystem contains numerous other functions, including a blog platform and even its own marketplace.

Ecosystem with broadened functionality

Currently, Gem4me development can be highlighted in several major directions:

  • Messenger
  • blog platform
  • commercial platform
  • hints of a social network

Messenger. Apart from traditional message exchange, voice calls and video conferences with no time limitations and number of participants up to 1000 people, it is essential to note the free audio message transcription, reactions to messages and the ability to edit already sent messages (WhatsApp, the most popular messenger in the world still does not offer such a capability).

Blog platform. User blogs have a separate section of the application with their own main page, on which the most interesting and popular public channels are highlighted in the form of convenient thematic widgets. Upon a user’s initial visit to the section, the smart channel recommendation system gathers his or her interests and will offer various blogs based on those interests in the future.

Commercial platform. MarketSpace, the application’s commercial platform allows to interact and communicate with merchants and buyers from across the whole world, including through the use of the built-in translator to 17 languages. Starting own business on the platform and registering a business account can be implemented by completing a brief form. The platform is universal and convenient for both small merchants and large online stores.

Social network. Developers are anticipating launching a news feed as part of the service in the near future. The feed will be collected from blog posts to which a user is subscribed. Moreover, profiles with expanded features are currently in development, which will allow for each user to structure their personal space. These  innovations depict that Gem4me will conduct partial functions of a social network soon.

Services for bloggers

The platform for bloggers within the Gem4me ecosystem has been developing for more than a year, as it currently offers thousands of public channels on various topics and trends.

Developers devote a lot of attention to convenience and ease of use of the service for bloggers. It boasts its own editing mode, in which articles can be generated, drafts can be saved, images can be added and text formatted. In other words, a complete publication can be generated all within the ecosystem.

Furthermore, the ability to add comments to publications was introduced in 2022. Now, authors can receive feedback from their readers, or in case they don’t seek any feedback – comments can be turned off otherwise. Additionally, a system of donations is also available: if an article was enticing, a reader can always reward the creator by sending a donation via a link depicted in the creator’s profile. Gem4me does not take any commission for such transactions.

In an effort to support beginners, their channels are broadcasted to the audience of the ecosystem in a specialized catalogue in which a system of recommendations is organized on a similar principle to mobile application stores (AppStore, Google Play). The catalogue is directly within the ecosystem, which makes finding interesting topics convenient and prompt without the need for any third-party services.

No limits or restrictions

Gem4me has no limits or boundaries, which is yet another principal difference from other similar applications. In comparison, restrictions exist in practically all messengers nowadays. Some messengers offer a paid subscription to unlock broader capabilities offered, as is the case with Telegram Premium, which allows for premium users to enjoy a faster file transfer speed, an increased transfer file size from 2GB to 4GB and an expanded number of channels to subscribe to.

From the very launch of its development process, Gem4me did not set any limitations or restrictions, furthermore; all services are offered to users free of charge. The size of file transfers and transfer speed are unlimited, the number of channels to subscribe to is limited only by individual user preferences and interests, even video conferences are not limited in time, while the number of 1000 participants is conditional — it is rather rare that someone needs to gather so many people online.

By adding new functions on a regular basis Gem4me does not plan to charge for its services. Further, developers do not charge any commission from donations to bloggers that are sent through the ecosystem. A user can rest-assured that he or she will not be charged for the use of any functionality within the Gem4me ecosystem.

Plans for the future

Currently, Gem4me ecosystem is working on expanding the functionality of the blog platform and devotes utmost attention to requests from bloggers. One of the key requests is monetization. Gem4me Ads, the in-house advertising exchange will be launched by the end of 2022. It allows to not only promote one’s channels within the ecosystem, but also introduce users to third-party external services (for instance, promoting one’s website).

Additionally, the aforementioned news feed is currently in its final stages of development. Once introduced, the process of expanding Gem4me’s social media-esque functionality will be implemented.

At this time, Gem4me is a complete ecosystem with its own active audience that directly influences the products’ continuous development and improvement. Users can already take advantage of the capabilities offered by the service – from communication, commerce, hosting a blog and earning from it and much more. Above all, each of them is free to use.
